Activities

The project builds on a collaborative book, edited by Dr. Aldohni and with contributions from Dr. Akseli and Professor Arvind, as well as other leading experts on finance and credit. The book seeks to critically evaluate the first round of reforms not merely with reference to macroeconomic stability, but with reference to the social, economic, and commercial contexts in which credit markets operate, and their impact on access to credit.

Over the life of the project, we will hold a series of events to bring together academics, regulators, and various groups of stakeholders to consider this impact more broadly, as well as to analyse ways of ameliorating it. The project will begin with a stakeholder symposium to be held at Durham Law School on 26 September 2016. Full details of the event, and further evens, will be posted on this website.
